Volunteers
Look out for our friendly and knowledgeable volunteers with pink festival lanyards at this year’s festival. Volunteers will be present at venues to help visitors access their events safely.
Wheelchair accessible
Jan Juc Surf Life Saving Club has two mobility carparks in front of the main building carpark. The building can be accessed via wheelchair by the smooth concrete ramp on the left side of the building. The front entrance glass double doorway is 1.4m wide. There is an accessible toilet at the rear of the theatre room that is sign-posted. A hearing loop can be made available if requested in advance. Staff will be available to assist everyone with their mobility needs.
Quiet areas
Jan Juc Surf Life Saving Club has a a designated ‘quiet area’ on the outdoor front lawn.
Concession tickets
Lower cost base tickets are available for students and concession card holders. Please ensure you have accreditation with you at the event.
Assistance animals
The Sketch and Scribe Festival venues welcomes assistance animals at our events. Please ensure you have accreditation with you at your event.
Digital recording and on-line events
The in-person day 1 program will be recorded and a digital link emailed post-event with closed captions. There are also many accessible on-line events to attend. Please refer to the Program-on-line page.
Health Precautions
If you suspect you have COVID or the flu, test positive for either, or exhibit symptoms, we urge you to stay home to protect the health of others. You will be able to access the program digitally for up to 30 days post-event.
